VACUETTE® blood collection tubes are made of synthetic material and have a pre-dosed vacuum to obtain an exact fill volume. They are equipped with color-coded VACUETTE® safety caps. The tubes, the concentrations of chemical additives or the volume of liquid additives, as well as their limit deviations, meet the requirements and recommendations of the international standard ISO 6710 for "Single-use containers for the collection of venous blood". Selection of the correct additive to use depends on the analysis method. The inside of the tubes is sterile.
