RENASYS EZ PLUS is a wound treatment system using Negative Pressure Therapy. The system consists of a suction pump that generates negative pressure and different types of drains and dressings that are applied depending on the type of wound and the amount of exudate. Its design allows the application of localized negative pressure at the wound site.
Applications:
- Wounds that do not evolve with other treatments after a period of 4 to 6 weeks.
- Wounds that are expected to take several months to heal.
- Wounds with significant depth and amount of exudate.
- Chronic wounds (pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers and leg ulcers).
- Acute wounds (explored fistulas, traumatic wounds, surgical dehiscences, donor and recipient areas of grafts and flaps).

Recommendations:
RENASYS EZ PLUS must be applied under the supervision of a Health Professional. Always use aseptic techniques.
- The device operates on both battery and AC power. If the battery is not charged, you must connect it to the electrical network through the plug located on the side of the device. You will know the battery is charging because the green light will be on.
- Next press the black power button, choosing continuous or intermittent therapy according to medical indication.
- Select the prescribed pressure, using the selection knob, you have the option of 40 to 200 mmHg.
- Treatment can be stopped and restarted with the same black button with which you chose continuous or intermittent therapy. The pressure level can be changed again using the selection knob.
- Read the instructions attached to the product in which the alarms are indicated.
- Place the canister and attach the port to the dressing connector.
- Join the drain ports and connect to the canister, program the pressure at which you want to start the therapy.
