The belt is an accessory to hold the ostomy system bags, it is recommended for active people, athletes or those who require greater security to carry the colostomy bags. It is also recommended for those with flat or invaginated stomas as it allows the stoma to protrude a little more above the skin.

Characteristics:

Adjustable: It contains two plastic snaps at the ends that allow it to be adjusted to the flaps of the two-piece Sur-Fit® Plus bags (drainable, closed, urostomy).

Multimeasures: It can be adjusted to the contour of the patient's abdomen and allows it to be adjusted as needed.

Endurance: The elastic is very resistant and can be washed. Resists several washes. It is anti-allergic.

Patient comfort and safety: It fits perfectly to the side flaps of the two-piece Sur-Fit® Plus bag, preventing the bag from falling, thus providing greater security and psychological adjustment to the patient, especially in the initial stage.

Recommendations:

• Position the belt so that the graduation buckle faces outwards so that it does not put pressure on the skin.
• Adjust the belt to the contour of the patient's abdomen in such a way that it is neither too loose nor too tight.
• The plastic clips on the ends of the belt should fit snugly over the flaps of the Sur-Fit® Plus Two-Piece System pouches.
