SAFALET INTRAVENOUS CATHETER - NIPRO- SALE BY PIECE
Intended for arterial and venous puncture in procedures for taking blood samples or administering medications. Ergonomic design to facilitate insertion and minimize trauma to the patient.
Characteristics:
- Transparent chamber for greater visualization of blood return.
- Tri-beveled needle tip.
- Radiopaque (Identification through RX).
- Individual packaging for greater safety that avoids the risk of accidental punctures.
- Polyurethane. (PU finish in size section)
- Teflon. (ISO ending in size section)
PU (Polyurethane) has a high degree of biocompatibility, durable, thrombo-resistant, radiopaque, with soft, thin walls and great resistance to most chemicals.
ETFE (Ethylene-TetraFluoroEthylene) is a biocompatible material with structural superiority compared to Teflon catheters. The recommended lifespan of EFTE catheters is 33% longer than that of Teflon catheters, giving greater autonomy to the medical professional and reducing costs for health institutions.
SECURITY
The rigid packaging of our SAFELET PU (Polyurethane) and SAFELET ETFE (Ethylene-TetraFluoroEthylene) intravenous catheter offers total protection against physical damage and contamination of the contents, which guarantees the sterility of the product for 5 years. SAFELET intravenous catheters are sterilized by ethylene oxide (ETO). Radiopaque catheter with three lines of radiopacity where it provides greater security due to possible
detachment.
PRACTICALITY
- Plastic pavilion with transparent window on the needle for visualization of blood flow.
- Ergonomic design for greater puncture precision.
- Its right angles promote better support.
