Applications:

• Indicated for moist lesions around stomas, fistulas and perianal region.
• Forms a protective barrier against excretions in the runoff area.

Characteristics:

• Absorption: The natural hydrocolloid substances in Stomahesive Powder have the ability to absorb the moisture present on the surface of excoriated or irritated skin, allowing easy adhesion of the protective skin barrier.
• Tissue regeneration: Hydrocolloids have demonstrated great capacity to regenerate damaged tissue.

Recommendations:

• Clean the surrounding skin with clean water and mild soap (without using antiseptic solutions), rinsing very well until residue and excess moisture are removed.
• Apply the Stomahesive powder in a very thin layer covering the entire irritated or abraded area.
• Remove excess Stomahesive powder.
• Repeat the procedure when leaks occur until the skin completely recovers.
