Suprasorb A calcium alligator compresses and plugs are intended for single use and can be used for the healing of the following wounds:
-Superficial and deep wounds
-Highly exudative wounds
-Chronic wounds: venous ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers
-Acute wounds: second degree burns, lacerations, abrasions
-Postoperative wounds
-Trauma wounds

Prepare the wound:
-Clean the wound thoroughly. The skin around it should be clean and dry 2
Apply the dressing:
-Place the compress on the wound bed; If necessary, its size will be adapted to the size of the wound by folding the compress b Deep wounds are lightly plugged with the wick c Fix Suprasorb A with a suitable secondary dressing 3
Changing the dressing:
-Change the dressing as directed by the responsible healthcare professional, or when moisture seeps through the secondary dressing, but no later than 5 to 7 days.
-Remove the fixation and eliminate any gel residue present in the wound, irrigating with saline solution
Contraindications:
-Unsuitable if the wound environment is dry Unsuitable for third degree burns
